Fixed Map Spawns for the White Key

The white key serves as the entry-level token in the game item loop. Multiple stages maintain static spawn coordinates where players can pick up the key directly from the floor or elevated platforms.

In Ball Ramp, the white key rests on top of the central L-shaped pipe. Reaching it requires timing your jumps across the rolling stone spheres before leaping onto the pipe surface. Smilers can reach this spot by using jump potions or pushing the boulders directly.

Dead Forest places its key on top of an observation camera along the perimeter. Jumping onto the camera mount lets you reach the elevated ledge safely. In Double Gate, the item spawns inside the central corridor on either the dining table or directly along the floor near the infection zones.

ExhaustRoom hides the key on the floor below the central walkway. Players descend using corner ladders while maintaining distance from the lethal rotating fan blades. In Vents, following the right-hand corridors past the safe ladders leads directly to a pickup spot.

Towers features white keys on top of the exterior structures. Players climb the fixed ladders to access the upper walkways. Desolate Shelter places its key within the second sector at the end of a winding spiral maze.

Dynamic and Multi-Spawn Stages

Several stages contain shifting spawn coordinates or special conditions for obtaining a white key. Tracking these locations across map rotations helps you secure keys before rival players arrive.

Cornlab features five potential white key spawn points across the cornfield. The key appears near the corn NPC at the entrance, on top of overhead ceiling lights, or along the floor path leading toward the exit gate. Moving through the stalks requires caution because hostile corn entities can strike unsuspecting survivors.

Halls contains three separate potential spawns. The key appears on the second floor near the ceiling window controls, inside the corridor next to the wall spikes, or beside the key ring spawn.

In Isolated Mineshaft Industry, descending to the lower levels reveals an obstacle course near the trap chambers. Completing the jumps awards both a sword and a white key.

Lockers introduces an RNG element. When the map loads, a rusty locker occasionally spawns in the layout, housing a white key inside its compartments. In Steel Bridges, the key rests on the lower truss structure underneath the main bridge platforms, suspended above the void. Warhead spawns keys in the lower subterranean ruins, including random appearances when the hatch opens during sector collapse.

Where to Use the White Key

Collecting a white key allows you to access locked doors across multiple maps. Spending a white key typically yields a red key, which functions as the next tier required to obtain high-grade tools or trade up for a green key.

StageUnlocked RewardStage Requirement
CorridorRed KeyEnter the marked door along the zigzag hallway corners
PrisonRed Key and Fire PotionOpen the cell door while avoiding the infection floor trap
Pit of HappinessRed Key and AxeDrop to the lower floor and unlock the glass enclosure
SawbladesRed KeyReach the left wall vault while dodging moving blades
Laser CaveShotgun or TaserUnlock the surface chests before dropping to the lower cavern

Corridor contains a locked door where inserting a white key directly dispenses a red key. In Prison, using your white key opens the secured cell block, providing both a red key and a fire potion. Pit of Happiness houses a locked room at the base of the pit below the central bridge, containing a red key alongside an axe.

Sawblades features an exchange vault situated along the left boundary. Unlocking the gate requires avoiding lethal blade hitboxes across the floor. In Laser Cave, the ground level features two chests that open with a white key, granting either a shotgun or a stun taser.

Routing Keys Across Matches

Holding a key across rotating rounds creates tactical advantages, especially in elimination mode where weapon access determines survival. Using mobility gear like the katana boosts movement speed, making jumps across the boulders in Ball Ramp or the trusses in Steel Bridges significantly safer.

Carrying the key ring item prevents total loss upon falling into hazards. Knowing the nearest exchange door on adjacent key locations ensures you can upgrade white keys into red keys before server hazards clear your inventory.
