Supported Music ID Codes for the Disco Boombox

The Disco room stage contains an interactive boombox item that broadcasts audio across the room. Any player entering the Disco stage hears whatever track is currently active. When an audio code finishes playing or nobody has selected an active track, the boombox interface displays the status line "Playing: Error" to indicate an idle state.

Players standing near the boombox can combine these tracks with standard dance emotes while waiting for stage hazards to cycle.

How to Configure Background Music in Settings

Outside the Disco room, players can set personal audio tracks that play continuously throughout a match. Custom sound input is handled directly through the client interface rather than chat commands.

  1. Spawn into any active server and open the main game settings menu.
  2. Locate the text field labeled background music.
  3. Enter a valid numerical Roblox sound asset ID into the box to begin playback.
  4. Adjust the music volume slider to balance custom audio levels against nearby sound effects.

The client also provides separate SFX and music volume sliders, which allow you to lower background songs so footsteps and weapon swings remain audible during standard how to play encounters across different maps.

In-Game Soundtrack Events and Screen Audio

Specific stages and shop modifiers trigger preset audio tracks that temporarily override default ambient sounds. These events occur during high-threat rounds or server-wide transformations:

  • Darkness Mode: Purchasing the darkness screen transition from the shop for 800 coins triggers the horror track "Myuu-A Deep Voice" across the server. During this event, human survivors receive flashlights while infected characters emit a red glow.
  • Giant Transformations: Drinking a giant potion from the server's selection of potions causes the ground to shake and initiates a tense battle track across the entire map. A dedicated audio track also plays whenever an active giant is eliminated.
  • Holiday Features: Seasonal item interactions contain alternate sound triggers, such as Christmas gift boxes playing an "OOF" version of jingle bells upon opening.
